SANT JORDI A LA XINA

No, ni paradetes amb llibres, ni roses, ni autors firmant bestsellers... res d'això. És més, ha plogut una bona estona. I sabeu què? he tingut un dia fantàstic! Sí, evidentment he pensat molt en la meva terra, els meus i les nostres tradicions i festes. Però els vostres missatges, e-mails i trucades m'han fet sentir encara més especial que si fos a casa, pel fet d'estar tan lluny i que la gent es recordi de tu. Així que he decidit exportar una de les nostres millors festes a la Xina, hi he comprat unes quantes roses per regalar-les! Una de dues, o bé han entès el que intentava explicar, o bé pensen que estic deseperat... :) I ja veieu la recompensa, he sopat acompanyat de dues belles dames amb qui he passat un vespre genial, feia temps que no reia tant! Per cert, a l'Alicia ja la coneixeu, la meva colega i amiga de passadís i companya de Tai ji. La noia del meu costat és la Natalia que, avui per segona vegada, m'ha torturat una estona amb les agulles d'acupuntura. ;)

La segona foto... Doncs m'ha agradat moltíssim, què voleu que us digui. No sé si s'eperaven sortir al Blog així, però m'encanta, m'ha fet molta gràcia, i és una petita representació de les felicitacions d'avui que m'han ajudat a passar un St. Jordi com a casa!

SANT JORDI (My name's day/ the international day of the book and rose) IN CHINA

No, there were no stands with books, no roses and no authors signing bestsellers... I'll tell you even more, it rained for quite a long time today. And you know what? I had a great day! Yes, I obviously thought a lot about my hometown, my people, our traditions and festivities. but all your messages, e-mails and calls made me feel even more special than if I had been home. Because when you're so far away, it means a lot that people think about you. So I decided to export one of our best celebrations to China and I bought some red roses to give away and at the same time explain the meaning of it. They either understood what I was trying to do, or they thought I am really desperate... :) And well, you can see reward: I had dinner with these two beautiful ladies and we had a great evening. I think i hadn't laughed like that in a very long time. I really really appreciate it. By the way, you all know Alicia now, my friend and Taiji colleague. The girl sitting next to me is Natalia who, today for the second time this week, tortured me with the acupuncture needles. ;)

The second picture... What can I say, I just loved it. I don't think they were expecting to appear in my Blog dressed like that, but it made my day, and I think it is a good representation of all the congratulations I received today which helped have a Sant Jordi as if I were home!
